Vivo is teasing two new phones in China. On March 31, Vivo will launch the Y300 Pro+ and Y300t, and in April, it will launch the X200S and X200 Ultra. Vivo Product Manager Han Boxiao released the first official image of the X200 Ultra today.
This official image shows the Vivo X200 Ultra’s right side rather than the front or back of the device. It will be Vivo’s first smartphone with this new hardware key. Additionally, the Vivo X200 Ultra appears to be slimmer than the iPhone 16 Pro Max.
The new button, with a blue strip for visual contrast, has a distinct appeal. A dedicated camera shutter button, located lower on the frame, appears to be more than just a standard press-down key. The design enhances the photography experience, especially when shooting in landscape mode or adjusting settings. Users may be able to control zoom, focus, or exposure with the sliding mechanism to compose a better shot.
The Vivo X200 Ultra’s major selling point is its photography. According to reports, the device will be equipped with a triple camera setup featuring a 50-megapixel Sony LYT-818 primary camera with OIS, an ultra-wide-angle 50-megapixel Sony LYT-818 lens, and a 200-megapixel Samsung HP9 periscope lens.
Vivo’s S1 pre-processing chip and V3+ post-processing chip will enhance the photography experience on the X200 Ultra. Additionally, a triple LED flash is said to improve low-light photography.
