Sony is expected to launch its latest Xperia 1 VII smartphone this year, which is expected to include an upgraded camera. One more Xperia device is expected to accompany this device.

Tipster spektykles described Sony’s mid-range device in the Esato forum. However, the device is believed to be a Sony Xperia 10 VII. The Sony Xperia 1 VII is expected to launch alongside this device.

According to the tipster, the device will have a 120Hz OLED screen. The Sony Xperia 10 VI also has an OLED display, but it offers a 60Hz refresh rate, although it has a 120Hz touch scanning rate. The tipster may refer to the Sony Xperia 10 VII’s screen refresh rate. In addition, the screen could also offer a 16:9 aspect ratio.

Further, Sony will no longer reuse the last-gen SoC (Snapdragon 6 Gen 1) but will give it a new one instead. Sony may use the Snapdragon 6s Gen 3 SoC for the upcoming smartphone.
