After being introduced earlier this week, Samsung just launched the Galaxy A56 and Galaxy A36 smartphones in India. With 6.7-inch FHD+ 120Hz Super AMOLED displays, the A56 is powered by Exynos 1580, while the A36 is powered by Snapdragon 6 Gen 3.

Galaxy A56:

The Galaxy A56 5G sports the same 6.7-inch FHD+ Super AMOLED display with 120Hz refresh rates. It has optical in-display fingerprint scanner support with Corning Gorilla Glass Victus+. The new Exynos 1580 SoC powers the Galaxy A55 5G with 6GB/8GB RAM and a 128GB/256GB storage option. Expanding memory through a microSD card slot is also possible.

 

The new Galaxy A56 5G will feature triple-rear cameras: a 50MP primary sensor with an f/1.8 aperture and OIS, a 12MP f/2.2 ultra-wide sensor, and a 5MP macro sensor with an f/2.4 aperture and LED flash. The device also has a 12MP selfie shooter with an aperture of f/2.2.

The Galaxy A56 5G will ship with the same 5000 mAh battery but with 45W fast charge support. It also gets an IP67 rating, making it dust—and water-resistant, and stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos support.

The connectivity option includes Dual SIM with 5G, Dual 4G LTE and VoLTE support, Wifi 6.0, A-GPS, NFC, GLONASS, Bluetooth 5.3 USB Type-C port, FM Radio, and an in-display fingerprint scanner. Samsung Galaxy A55 5G runs on Android 15 with One UI 7.0. It measures 7.4mm thick and weighs 198g.

By choosing and combining the greatest facial expressions or characteristics for up to five individuals in a motion picture, the Galaxy A56 5G’s greatest Face function makes it simpler than ever to get the ideal group photo.

The 12MP selfie camera on the Galaxy A56 5G now has Low Noise Mode, which improves night photography even more. The enhanced Object Eraser is a feature of the Galaxy A36 5G and Galaxy A26 5G.

Galaxy A36:

The new Galaxy A36 5G will sport a 6.7-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. The device comes with Corning Gorilla Glass 7+ on top. It is powered by Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 SoC coupled with 6GB/8GB RAM and 128GB/256GB storage space. It measures 8.2mm thick and weighs 209g.

Samsung Galaxy A35 5G will feature triple-rear cameras with LED flash. The device will have a 50MP primary sensor with an f/1.8 aperture and OIS and an 8MP ultra-wide unit with an f/2.2 aperture. There is also a 5MP macro-sensor with an f/2.4 aperture and LED flash. Under the waterdrop notch, there is a 12MP selfie shooter.

The device will ship with the same 5000 mAh battery with 45W fast charge support. It runs on Android 15 OS with One UI 7 on top. It features an in-display fingerprint scanner and an IP67 rating, making it dust—and water-resistant.

The connectivity option includes Dual SIM with 5G, Dual 4G LTE, and VoLTE support, Wi-Fi 6.0, A-GPS, NFC, 3.5mm audio jack, GLONASS, Bluetooth 5.2, USB Type-C port, and FM Radio.

In India, the Galaxy A56 5G is available in Awesome Lightgray, Awesome Graphite, and Awesome Olive colours, and the Galaxy A36 5G is available in Awesome Lavender, Awesome Black, and Awesome White colours.
