Reliable China-based tipsters have revealed the key specifications of the Realme GT 7 and Realme GT 8 Pro. The GT 7 will feature the upcoming Dimensity 9400 Plus chipset and go on sale within the first half of this year, while the GT 8 Pro will feature the next-generation Snapdragon 8 Elite 2 SoC.
Realme GT 7:
According to tipster Digital Chat Station, the Realme GT 7 will feature a flat display. In addition to the 7,000mAh+ single-cell battery, it will have a 100W charging system, which promises to extend battery life.
It will feature the Dimensity 9400+, an overclocked version of the Dimensity 9400. The D9400+ is expected to operate at 3.7GHz, compared to 3.25GHz for the D9400. It will be thinner and lighter than the Realme GT 6, which was released in July 2024 and is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3.
It could also be the first phone to feature Dimensity 9400+. As the SoC is expected to debut on April 11, the GT 7 may do the same.
Realme GT 8 Pro:
Realme GT 8 Pro is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite 2 and is being developed by tipster Smart Pikachu. According to the leak, the GT 8 Pro will have a flat OLED panel with 2K resolution and an integrated ultrasonic fingerprint sensor.
The GT 8 Pro is expected to have a battery exceeding 7,000mAh. Like its predecessor, it will also have a periscope telephoto camera. The GT 7 Pro debuted in China and global markets in November, and the successor edition may debut around the same time.
