We received confirmation today on the flagship’s battery capacity. The Oppo Find X8 Ultra is scheduled to launch on April 10. Product director Zhou Yibao verified the phone’s enormous 6,100 mAh battery on social media.

The capacity is 22% higher than that of its predecessors, the Find X7 Ultra, Find X6 Pro, and Find X5 Pro, which all had a 5,000 mAh battery. Oppo will continue to provide 100W wired charging, but other manufacturers have been forced to lower their charging speeds to improve capacity. The CEO claims charging from 0% to 100% takes 35 minutes.

The Oppo Find X8 Ultra is intended to be a powerful cameraphone and an excellent flagship. It will include five cameras (four 50 MP and one spectral sensor) on the rear, a big 6.82″ AMOLED display on the front, and a Snapdragon 8 Elite CPU.

The unfortunate issue is that, as with the Find X7 Ultra and Find X6 Ultra, Oppo may decide not to release the phone internationally and instead limit it to China.
