According to reports, Oppo is preparing to launch its next-generation Reno 14 series in mid-2025. The Reno14 Pro is anticipated to provide flagship-level capabilities to the mid-tier smartphone market.

According to the recent rumor, the phone will include a Quick Button for photography functionality, similar to Apple’s photography Control button. This will be one of the device’s main selling factors. The Reno14 Pro is anticipated to be on sale in June 2025.

Weibo tipster Digital Chat Station claims Oppo intends to include high-end technologies into the upcoming model, including 0809 haptics for more engaging tactile feedback and a 3D single-point ultrasonic fingerprint scanner. These enhancements will support high-end features including metallic mid-frames and IP68/69 water and dust protection.

The OPPO Reno14 Pro will ship with a 1.5K AMOLED display and the Dimensity 8350 SoC. The source confirmed that the device will feature a 50MP Sony IMX882 sensor, a 50MP JN5 3x periscopic sensor, and a JN5 Ultra-wide sensor.

One of the most notable features of the Reno 14 Pro may be the addition of Oppo’s Quick Button, a capacitive-style button that debuted in the Find X8 series. This button provides quick access to camera features and may also act as a shortcut for other features, which would facilitate the completion of certain activities.

According to rumors, Other Oppo sub-flagship handsets, like the Nord 4, the OnePlus Ace 3V, and the K12 series’ successors, may also receive similar improvements. As mid-2025 approaches, more information on the Reno 14 Pro and its siblings is anticipated to become available.
