In April, Oppo will announce the Oppo Find X8 Ultra in China. The Oppo Find Product Manager Zhou Yibao has already begun spilling details about the X8 Ultra before its launch. The phone will be the only “Ultra” phone among its competitors to feature a flat display. A teaser image was even released to show what the screen looks like. A new post on Weibo reveals the charger’s capabilities and durability.

In China’s 3C certification database, the Oppo Find X8 Ultra and Satellite Communication Version were spotted with a 100W charger. Oppo Find Product Manager Zhou Yibao says the Find X8 Ultra will support 100W fast charging.

According to Yibao, the X8 Ultra will be able to charge from 0 to 100 percent in just 35 minutes. Wireless charging will also be supported at 80W. The chassis of the Ultra variant will be IP68/69-rated, just like the existing Find X8 and X8 Pro.

Digital Chat Station, a reliable tipster, has also leaked new information about the X8 Ultra. According to his recent Weibo post, the device will be powered by a battery of around 6,000mAh. The phone will also feature a dual-cell battery, making it the only “Ultra” flagship this year. Despite its large battery, the device is expected to remain under 9mm thick. The X8 Ultra features an upgraded 0916 X-axis linear motor for improved haptic feedback.
