HTC has released the HTC Wildfire E5 Plus, a budget-friendly smartphone. This handset is an entry-level offering for users seeking a large display and capable cameras in Southeast Asian markets.

HTC Wildfire E5 Plus features a 6.74-inch display with an HD+ resolution of 720 x 1600 pixels and 90Hz refresh rate support. The device runs on a 1.6GHz quad-core Unisoc T606 processor.
The device has 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. It runs Android 14 and has a microSD card slot for additional storage. The battery supports 10W charging and has a capacity of 5,000mAh.
HTC Wildfire E5 Plus has a 16MP front camera, a 50MP primary camera, and a 2MP macro camera on the phone’s back.
For security, there is a side-facing fingerprint scanner and a face unlock feature. Other features include dual SIM, 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, USB-C port, and 3.5mm audio jack.
The HTC Wildfire E5 Plus is available in grey and blue for 2,379,000 VND (~Rs.8,300/-) in Vietnam. Later this month, the handset will also be available in Thailand.
