At their MWC 2025 presentation, Human Mobile Devices (HMD) introduced the HMD Amped Buds. These are the first 1600mAh earphones that can charge your phone while you listen to music.

The very thin, light casing is just 14 mm thick and weighs only 80g. According to the firm, every bud is cozy and has an adjustable hinge design for the ideal fit. They are durable and splash-resistant, with an IPX4-rated casing and IP54-rated earphones.

According to the brand, HMD Amped Buds provide robust, well-balanced sound by enhancing low frequencies. The Amped Buds app, compatible with iOS and Android, allows you to alter the sound. The earbuds’ 10mm drivers, Snapdragon Sound, and Bluetooth v5.4 provide high-resolution, lossless music.

The case supports both electrical and magnetic charging. It has two USB Type-C cables and can power any compatible wireless charging device. The case also supports reverse wireless charging.

After a single charge, each earbud lasts up to eight hours (four hours if ANC is enabled). The 1600mAh case allows for 95 hours of playing. When plugged in, the case may increase the battery life of an iPhone 16 by 24%, and when magnetically connected, it can increase it by up to 20%.

The Amped Buds combine hybrid ANC and ENC for crystal-clear calls. Each stem has a triple microphone array to cut down on background noise and isolate your speech. Additional features include a voice assistant, low latency for gaming and video, multipoint connection for connecting two devices at once, and Google Fast Pair for Android users.

Pricing:

The HMD Amped Buds will be on sale in April for £169 (Rs. 18,585/-). They are available in black, pink, and cyan.
