HMD announces new HMD Barca Fusion and HMD Barca 3210 at MWC.

At the Mobile World Congress (MWC) in Barcelona, HMD and FC Barcelona announced a partnership that would result in two new mobile devices: the HMD Barça 3210 and the HMD Barça Fusion.

HMD Barca 3210:

A feature phone intended to reduce distractions during athletic events is the HMD Barça 3210. As the “Tiki-Taka of phones,” HMD markets the gadget as easy to use, effective, and seamless. It lacks social networking apps and looks evocative of the original Nokia 3210.

The phone, which comes in the club colors of Blau and Grana, includes a version of the “Snake” game with FC Barcelona components played on a digital field, pre-loaded wallpapers with FC Barcelona themes, and a personalized user interface.

In addition, FC Barcelona players have left hidden audio messages. This device features a 2MP camera, 4G connectivity, a 1450mAh battery, and IP54 splash resistance. With its long battery life and lack of social media access, HMD emphasizes the device’s focus on essential communication.

The nostalgic trend continues into 2025, as consumers increasingly gravitate towards retro products after the successful reintroduction of the 3210 for its 25th anniversary.

HMD Barca Fusion:

As part of the HMD Barça Fusion Collector’s Edition, it includes a protective case engraved with the signatures of 11 FC Barcelona players. Under UV light, these signatures glow. With FC Barcelona-themed visuals, audio greetings, and alarm sounds, the device includes Lewandowski, De Jong, Eric Garcia, Fermin López, Gavi, and Íñigo Martínez.

Additionally, the device comes with the official FC Barcelona application. Users can attach a variety of “Smart Outfits” to the HMD Fusion, such as a ring light for selfies, gaming controls, or enhanced durability.

As part of its core features, the HMD Fusion offers a dual 108MP camera, a 50MP front-facing camera capable of slow-motion and gestures, and 5G connectivity. The company also emphasizes the device’s repairability, mentioning iFixit support.

According to HMD, the partnership reflects both brands’ desire to live in the moment. The company says feature phones are growing in popularity due to increasing consumer interest in devices that limit digital distractions.
