Oppo has begun teasing the launch of the Find X8 Ultra in China in April. No teaser has fully revealed the phone’s design, however. Live images showcasing the device’s front and rear surfaced on Chinese social media platforms in February. Here is another look at the device, courtesy of a new image.
According to the leaked image, the Find X8 Ultra matches the live shot from earlier this year. Its flat-edged frame and slightly curved transition between the back panel and sides provide a more comfortable grip. The brand has already confirmed that the device will have a flat display, even though the screen is not visible in this image.
Upon examining the back, you will notice a large circular camera module, which protrudes considerably and is surrounded by a metallic ring. The camera setup appears to include a multispectral lens branded Hasselblad, which houses multiple sensors. Due to the phone’s confidentiality case, its final appearance is likely disguised, not the module design.
On the Find X8 Ultra, the Alert Slider has been replaced with a pressable smart key. With this new button, users will have more customization options and enhanced functionality. As implied in the image, the phone may also be narrower than the Find X8 Pro, improving one-handed usability.
