Recent updates indicate that Vivo is set to release its V50 smartphone in India by February 2025, which arrives merely five months following the debut of the V40. In anticipation of its launch, details regarding the pricing of the Vivo V50 have been leaked, providing consumers with early insights into what to expect financially from this new model.

Vivo V50:

 

The new Vivo V50 will sport a 6.78-inch 1.5K AMOLED flat display (2400×1080p) with 120Hz refresh rates. The Vivo V50 is now powered by the Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 SoC coupled with 8GB/12GB LPDDR4X RAM and 128GB/256GB UFS 2.2 storage space.

 

Vivo V50 features a 50MP main sensor, f/1.88 aperture with an OIS coupled with a 50MP ultra-wide sensor. On the front, it ships with a massive 50MP selfie shooter with dual soft LED flash.

 

The connectivity option includes Dual SIM with Dual 5G, 4G LTE, VoLTE support,  Wifi 5, A-GPS, GLONASS, Bluetooth 5.4, NFC, and USB Type-C port. It also gets IP68/IP69 certified making dust and water-resistant.

It packs a 6000 mAh battery with 90W fast charging support. The device runs on Android 15 with FunTouch OS 15 on top. It measures 7.19mm thick and weighs 193g. The device also gets NFC and in-display fingerprint support.

Pricing:

According to insights from tipster Abhishek Yadav, the upcoming Vivo V50 is expected to launch with a starting price of Rs 37,999. While there is some uncertainty about the final pricing, it is anticipated to stay below Rs 40,000. This marks a potential increase of Rs 3,000 from the Vivo V40, which was initially priced at Rs 34,999.
