Samsung’s first tri-fold smartphone has recently surfaced with information about its availability, display crease, and more. It comes from a PandaFlash tipter, by the way.

According to him, the device will be available only in select markets. Those facts align with the previously leaked information, as the company isn’t making many of these devices. It is possible that only 200,000-300,000 units will be made.

Moreover, the tipster claims the sides will be flat, just like the Galaxy Z Fold 7, due later this year. Similarly, the display crease visibility on the Galaxy Z Fold 6 will remain the same. In this regard, several foldable devices do a better job than others.

As with the Galaxy Z Fold 7, that tri-fold smartphone will have a camera ring around the back. The tipster shared all that information this time around. According to previously leaked information, the device will have a 6.49-inch cover display. As Huawei’s Mate XT does, Samsung’s tri-fold phone has two displays, not one. Therefore, the primary display should provide better protection.

However, it is likely to be heavier and thicker than the Huawei Mate XT. According to reports, the Galaxy Z Fold 7 will also have a cover display of 6.49 inches.
This smartphone was teased at Samsung’s first Unpacked event of the year last month.

However, the company did not provide any specific information. In any case, it may launch at some point this year, possibly alongside the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 7. Samsung Galaxy G Fold is one possible name for the device. Samsung could opt for a more exciting name, but nothing has been confirmed yet.
