Samsung is about to introduce its new Galaxy A-series range later next month. Ahead of the launch, we already saw various leaks revealing the specs and official renders. Now, finally, we have the detailed specs sheet leaked for the new Galaxy A26, Galaxy A36, and Galaxy A56.
Galaxy A56:
The Galaxy A56 5G sports the same 6.7-inch FHD+ Super AMOLED display with 120Hz refresh rates. It has optical in-display fingerprint scanner support with Corning Gorilla Glass Victus+. The new Exynos 1580 SoC powers the Galaxy A55 5G with 6GB/8GB RAM and a 128GB/256GB storage option. Expanding memory through a microSD card slot is also possible.
The new Galaxy A56 5G will feature triple-rear cameras: a 50MP main sensor with an f/1.8 aperture and OIS, a 12MP f/2.2 ultra-wide sensor, and a 5MP macro sensor with an f/2.4 aperture and LED flash. The device also comes with a 12MP selfie shooter with an aperture of f/2.2.
The Galaxy A56 5G will ship with the same 5000 mAh battery but with 45W fast charge support. It also gets an IP67 rating, making it dust—and water-resistant, and stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos support.
The connectivity option includes Dual SIM with 5G, Dual 4G LTE and VoLTE support, Wifi 6.0, A-GPS, NFC, GLONASS, Bluetooth 5.3 USB Type-C port, FM Radio, and an in-display fingerprint scanner. Samsung Galaxy A55 5G runs on Android 15 with One UI 7.0. It measures 7.4mm thick and weighs 198g.
Galaxy A36:
The new Galaxy A36 5G will sport a 6.7-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. The device comes with Corning Gorilla Glass Victus+ on top. It is powered by Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 SoC coupled with 6GB/8GB RAM and 128GB/256GB storage space. It measures 8.2mm thick and weighs 209g.
Samsung Galaxy A35 5G will feature triple-rear cameras with LED flash. The device will come with a 50MP main sensor with an f/1.8 aperture and OIS coupled with an 8MP ultra-wide unit with an f/2.2 aperture. There is also a 5MP macro-sensor with an f/2.4 aperture and LED flash. Under the waterdrop notch, there is a 12MP selfie shooter.
The device will ship with the same 5000 mAh battery with 25W fast charge support. It runs on Android 15 OS with One UI 7 on top. It features an in-display fingerprint scanner and an IP67 rating, making it dust—and water-resistant.
The connectivity option includes Dual SIM with 5G, Dual 4G LTE, and VoLTE support, Wi-Fi 6.0, A-GPS, NFC, 3.5mm audio jack, GLONASS, Bluetooth 5.2, USB Type-C port, and FM Radio.
Galaxy A26 5G:
The new Galaxy A26 5G sports a 6.5-inch FHD+ Super AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. The notch houses a 12MP selfie shooter with an aperture of f/2.0. The Galaxy A26 features triple-rear cameras on the back, including a 50MP main shooter with an f/1.8 aperture and OIS. There is also an 8MP Ultra-wide camera and a 2MP macro sensor with an aperture of f/2.4 and LED flash.
The Galaxy A26 5G is powered by an Exynos 1380 SoC coupled with 6GB/8GB RAM and 128GB/256GB internal storage. It also comes with a dedicated microSD card slot. It is packed with a 5000 mAh battery with 25W fast charging support and runs on Android 15 with One UI 7 on top. Further, the device also features a fingerprint scanner on the side.
There will be four years of OS updates and five years of security updates. Samsung Knox security and Samsung Pay will also be included. The Galaxy A26 5G has stereo speakers despite being a budget device. It measures 7.7mm thick & weighs 197g.
