Following the launch of its Galaxy S25 series, Samsung is now focusing on its next-generation foldable smartphones. While the Galaxy Z Fold7 is still far from release, a new leak reveals some of its improvements.
A tipster on Weibo leaked the upcoming Galaxy Z Fold7. According to reports, the newer foldable phone will offer several improvements over its predecessor. Samsung is expected to launch its Galaxy Z Fold7 with an upgraded under-display camera. This may be due to better clarity from the selfie camera on the primary display, though the exact reason is unclear.
The Galaxy Z Fold7’s battery specs are a bit disappointing. According to the brand, the next-generation foldable flagship may still come with a 4,400mAh battery pack. This is disappointing since this device is a high-end model with hardly any improvements. The Snapdragon 8 Elite SoC will be changed a lot in this year’s flagship, but performance remains the same.
An improved hinge mechanism and foldable screen nearly eliminate the crease with the display. The Galaxy Z Fold7 could be one of the slimmest foldable phones yet, though the S Pen might be removed for a slimmer design.
