Samsung is still working on Galaxy S25. The flagship smartphone family’s vanilla, Plus, and Ultra varieties debuted in January. An official teaser of the Galaxy S25 Edge, a premium, ultra-thin smartphone, was also shown. However, the phone is months away. A Galaxy S25 Edge launch date has been leaked.

Previous sources suggest Samsung would debut the slimmest Galaxy S25 variant in April. The newest leak confirms those assertions and specifies April 16. The Korean site Sedaily reports that the Galaxy S25 Edge will be on the shelves in May, a few weeks after its introduction.

Samsung will likely start this product cautiously. The insider said Samsung would only make 40,000 devices initially. For comparison, Samsung expects to manufacture 37 million Galaxy S25 handsets. The Galaxy S25 Edge would make up just over 0.1% of the series’ volume if accurate.

The company may wish to evaluate public reaction with restricted output. Earlier leaks suggested the gadget would be regionally restricted. The corporation might raise gadget manufacturing based on public demand. Samsung increased Galaxy Ring manufacturing last year owing to tremendous demand.

Another intriguing fact is that the Galaxy S25 Edge may cost more than the Galaxy S25 but less than the Ultra. Samsung may respond to the iPhone 17 Air with the “Edge” Galaxy S flagship.
