Samsung launched the Galaxy A06 5G in India last week, and it looks like the country will host two more launches this year: the Galaxy A36 and Galaxy A56 (and possibly the A26). On YouTube and X, the following teaser video was posted:
The video mentions several A-series phones but no A36 or A56. While the design of the camera island on both models hasn’t been confirmed yet, leaks suggest that it will be different.
According to the video, the A-series has over 89 million customers. It also lists 6 OS updates, which wasn’t the case for last year’s A35 and A55, which only offered 4 OS updates. This seems to be an improvement for the 2025 generation but it is one update short of the premium S and Z series.
The teaser video does not mention when the new A-series models will be announced. Additionally, @SamsungIndia X remains mum on the issue. Besides the Galaxy M16, Samsung India will unveil the Galaxy M06 5G soon, but we don’t know when it will be released.
Samsung’s Galaxy A56 and A36 have been in the news lately. Exynos 1580 will power the higher-end model, and Snapdragon 6 Generation 3 will power the lower-end. Both smartphones will have 6.6-inch OLED displays and 5,000mAh batteries with 45W charging. Samsung’s Galaxy A26 has already been certified by India’s BIS, so it should launch soon, but the focus will likely be on the other two since they are pretty popular.
