The Samsung Galaxy M06 5G and M16 5G are the latest M-series phones that Samsung has launched in India. Both smartphones are rebadged Galaxy A and F-series smartphones.
Galaxy M06 5G:
The new Galaxy M06 5G sports a 6.7-inch HD+ Infinity-V PLS LCD display and Corning Gorilla Glass. It is powered by a Dimensity 6300 SoC coupled with 4GB RAM and 64GB/128GB internal storage.
On the back, the Galaxy M06 5G features dual rear cameras: a 50MP primary sensor with an aperture of f/1.8, a 2MP depth sensor with an aperture of f/2.4, and an LED flash. There is also an 8MP selfie shooter with an aperture of f/2.2.
All this is packed with a larger 5000 mAh battery and 25W fast charging support. The new Galaxy M06 5G runs on Android 15 with One UI 7. The device also has a USB Type-C port, FM Radio, Bluetooth 5.3, Wi-Fi 5, A-GPS, GLONASS, and a side-mounted fingerprint scanner. According to the company, the M06 5G will receive four major Android updates, reaching Android 19.
The Galaxy M06 5G will be available in two stunning colours: Sage Green and Blazing Black.
Galaxy M16 5G:
The new Galaxy M16 5G sports a 6.7-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with a 90Hz refresh rate. The notch houses a 13MP selfie shooter with an aperture of f/2.0. On the back, the Galaxy M16 features triple rear cameras: a 50MP main shooter with an f/1.8 aperture, a 5MP ultra-wide and a 2MP depth sensor with an aperture of f/2.4 and LED flash.
The Galaxy M16 5G is powered by MediaTek Dimensity 6300 SoC. The device has 4GB/6GB RAM and 64GB/128GB internal storage. It also comes with a dedicated microSD card slot. All this is packed with a 5000 mAh battery with 25W fast charging support. It supports dual-band AC WiFi, NFC, and Bluetooth 5.3, as well as two stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos support.
It runs on Android 15 with One UI 7 on top. The device also features a fingerprint scanner on the side. Six major Android updates and six years of security patch support stood out the most.
This time, the Galaxy M16 5G is also IP54 rated, making it water-resistant. It measures 164.4 x 77.9 x 7.9mm and weighs around 200 grams, depending on the model. The official Samsung website confirms that the Galaxy M16 5G will be available in Blush Pink, Mint Green, and Thunder Black.
