Samsung officially launched the Galaxy F06 5G in India, marking it as the most budget-friendly 5G smartphone. This new device closely mirrors the specifications of the Galaxy A06, with the primary distinction being its chipset. The Galaxy F06 5G is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 6300, ensuring comprehensive 5G support across India’s twelve 5G bands.
Galaxy F06 5G:
The new Galaxy F06 5G sports a 6.7-inch HD+ Infinity-V PLS LCD display and Corning Gorilla Glass. It is powered by a Dimensity 6300 SoC coupled with 4GB RAM and 64GB/128GB internal storage.
On the back, the Galaxy F06 5G features dual rear cameras: a 50MP primary sensor with an aperture of f/1.8, a 2MP depth sensor with an aperture of f/2.4, and an LED flash. There is also an 8MP selfie shooter with an aperture of f/2.2.
All this is packed with a larger 5000 mAh battery and 25W fast charging support. The new Galaxy A06 5G runs on Android 15 with One UI 7. The device also has a USB Type-C port, FM Radio, Bluetooth 5.3, Wi-Fi 5, A-GPS, GLONASS, and a side-mounted fingerprint scanner. According to the company, the A06 5G will receive four major Android updates, reaching Android 19.
Pricing:
The Galaxy F06 5G will be available in two stunning colours: Bahama Blue and Lit Violet. Samsung is launching the 4GB RAM with 128GB storage model at an introductory price of INR 9,499. The 6GB RAM with a 128GB storage version will be priced at INR 10,999 (around $126). Both versions are set to go on sale from February 20 and are available through Samsung India and other partnering retailers.
