After the realme Neo7 SE surfaced in certification last month, realme has started teasing its launch in China. Dimensity 8400 SoC of the phone has already been confirmed by the company.
Chase Xu, Vice President of Realme, announced today it will be powered by MediaTek Dimensity 8400-MAX SoC. According to him, it will be the most powerful smartphone under 2,000 yuan (US$275 / Rs. 23,815 approximately).
Based on user feedback, the Neo7 SE was launched in this price range after the Neo7 was launched at 2199 yuan last month.
Designed for youth, this device offers durable performance and good battery life with no compromises at a budget price point.
Additionally, realme will launch the realme Neo7x. The model number RMX5071 was also certified last month. According to reports, the phone is the first to use the Snapdragon 6 Gen 4 SoC.
According to the company, the Realme Neo 7x will cost under 1000 yuan (USD 137 / Rs. 11,910 approx.). It is planned to be launched worldwide as Realme 14 5G as well as Realme P3 5G.
Realme Neo7 SE:
The new Realme Neo7 SE will sport a massive 6.78 inches 1.5K(2780 x 1264p) AMOLED 8T LTPO display with a 120Hz refresh rate. It also gets Crystal Armor Glass protection on top with HDR10+ support. This 6000-nit peak brightness is likely reserved for HDR content or specific scenarios.
Realme Neo7 SE will be powered by Dimensity 8400 Max SoC coupled with 12GB/16GB RAM and 256GB/512GB storage.
On the back, the Realme Neo7 SE will ship with dual-rear cameras with a 50MP main IMX882 sensor with f/1.8 aperture and an 8MP 112° ultra-wide-angle lens with LED flash. It comes with a 16MP selfie camera with an f/2.5 aperture.
The Realme Neo7 SE comes with a massive 7000 mAh battery with 80W fast charging. It runs on Android 15 with ColorOS 15 on top.
The connectivity option includes Dual SIM with Dual 4G LTE and VoLTE support, 5G Dual Mode (SA/NSA) support, in-display fingerprint scanner, Wifi 7, A-GPS, GLONASS, Bluetooth 5.4, NFC, USB Type-C port and 1216 Linear Speaker, Dolby Atmos, Hi-Res Audio certification. It is also IP68+IP69 certified, making it dust and water-resistant.
Realme Neo7x or Realme 14 5G:
Realme 14 5G, aka Realme Neo7x, will arrive with a 6.67-inch FHD+ (2400×1080p) AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. It comes with an in-display fingerprint scanner. The Realme 14, aka Neo7x 5G, is powered by a Snapdragon 6 Gen 4SoC coupled with 6GB/8GB RAM and 128GB storage space.
The device will feature dual-rear cameras with a 50MP main sensor coupled with a 2MP macro sensor with LED flash. There is a 16MP selfie shooter under the punch-hole notch. The Realme 14, aka Neo7x 5G, comes with a 6000 mAh battery with 80W fast charge support.
The connectivity option includes Dual SIM with 5G, Dual 4G LTE and VoLTE support, Dual Band Wifi, Dual Frequency (L1 + L5) GPS, NFC, 3.5mm audio jack, A-GPS, GLONASS, USB Type-C port, FM Radio and Bluetooth 5.4. The device also comes with stereo speakers.
In addition to being IP68 certified against water and dust, the handset has a stainless steel vapour chamber for better cooling.
It runs on Android 15 OS with Realme 6.0 on top. The device measures 7.97mm thick and weighs 194g.
