Realme unveiled its newest true wireless earbuds in China, the Buds Air 7, Neo 7 SE, and Neo 7x.
Specs:
The Buds Air 7’s 12.4mm titanium-plated drivers are strengthened with a copper SHTW voice coil and a neodymium N52 magnet. Realme says this configuration produces brilliant highs, detailed mids, and deep bass with no distortion.
With a 96kHz sample rate and a 1000kbps transmission speed, the earbuds’ LHDC 5.0 transmission enables high-resolution music streaming. This guarantees rich textures, sharp details, and slight compression when used with suitable devices.
The Buds Air 7 includes high, mid, and low-frequency settings that customers may adjust to customize their audio experience. The Realme Link app allows you to change these parameters and 3D Spatial Audio driven by HRTF (Head-Related Transfer Function) algorithms.
For the best noise cancellation, the earbuds’ 52dB Intelligent Deep Sea Noise Reduction 3.0 adjusts to the noise levels in the surrounding surroundings. A six-microphone array with AI-powered call noise reduction is also included.
When noise cancellation is turned on, the Buds Air 7’s battery life decreases to 7.5 and 30 hours, respectively, from up to 13 hours on a single charge and 52 hours with the case.
Because of their IP55 classification, the Buds Air7 are impervious to mild splashes, perspiration, and dust. According to Realme, these earbuds have passed stringent durability testing, including 6,000 charge cycles, 10,000 case openings, and 96 hours of exposure to high temperatures and humidity. If these figures hold up in practical usage, they could be among their class’s most durable TWS earbuds.
The earphones include Dual Device Connect 2.0, which enables smooth switching between two devices, and Bluetooth 5.4 for a reliable connection. They also have a 45 ms low latency option for gaming, which guarantees that sound and images sync flawlessly. Additionally, there are clever touch controls for music playing, calls, noise suppression toggling, and Swift Pair for fast Windows PC connections.
Pricing:
The Realme Buds Air 7 is available in three colours—purple, green, and gold. It costs 299 yuan, or about $41. It will be on sale in China at 10:00 a.m. on February 26.
