After launching the budget Realme C75 in Vietnam last November, the company is now preparing to introduce a slightly modified version, the Realme C75x, in Malaysia. The device recently appeared in the SIRIM regulatory database with the model number RMX5020, signalling that it has received approval for launch.
The real excitement comes from a leaked promotional poster, which reveals the phone’s design and key specifications. From the looks of it, the C75x takes after the C75 in terms of design, featuring a flat front and back. The phone will also inherit durability features, including an IP69 rating that ensures resistance to dust, water, and drops, alongside military-grade certification for added toughness.
While the battery has been slightly downgraded to a 5,600mAh capacity (compared to the standard C75), it’s still a substantial size that should provide all-day use. On the display side, however, there’s an improvement—a 120Hz refresh rate—which will enhance scrolling and overall animation smoothness for a better user experience.
The poster doesn’t provide details on the SoC (System on Chip), but it’s expected to come with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage, with the option to virtually expand the RAM up to 24GB.
As for the camera, specifics are still under wraps, but the C75 features a 50MP rear camera and an 8MP front camera, so we can expect similar capabilities on the C75x.
The C75x will be available in two color options: Coral Pink and Oceanic Blue. While pricing and availability details are still unknown, the fact that the phone has received certification and marketing materials are already circulating suggests that the launch in Malaysia could happen sooner rather than later. Stay tuned for more updates!
