Vivo recently unveiled the design and key specifications of the upcoming V50, but the company didn’t share an official release date for the device.
However, a fresh rumour suggests that the V50 might officially launch in India on February 17. While this information remains unconfirmed, the only way to know for sure is to wait and see. Notably, it’s uncommon for a phone to appear on an official website 13 days before its launch, but this could just be how Vivo is handling this particular model.
According to the same source, the V50 is expected to hit the shelves a week after its announcement, on February 24. This insider information supposedly comes from a retail partner linked to the Vivo brand, though it should be taken with caution.
The Vivo V50 will be available in three colour options: Rose Red, starry blue, and Titanium Grey. It will feature a triple camera setup, including two 50 MP sensors on the back—one being the main camera with Optical Image Stabilization (OIS) and a 119° ultrawide lens—and a 50 MP autofocus camera on the front.
The V50’s 6,000 mAh battery can support 90W wired fast charging. The device will sport a quad-curved display, offering an immersive visual experience. It also has IP68 and IP69 ratings for water and dust resistance. The V50 will run Android 15, layered with Vivo’s Funtouch OS 15 interface, offering an enhanced user experience.
