The Asus ROG Phone 9 lineup expanded today with the official launch of the ROG Phone 9 FE. The brand quietly introduced this new addition in Thailand.

The ASUS ROG Phone 9 FE will maintain a design consistent with the flagship models, featuring the familiar camera setup and the iconic ROG logo on the back. The device will debut in at least one stylish colour, ‘Phantom Black’.

Aligning with the needs of gaming enthusiasts, the ROG Phone 9 FE will include AirTrigger controls, providing a tactile, console-like gaming experience. This feature is a standout, enhancing usability and immersing gamers more deeply into their gameplay.
Build and Durability
The ASUS ROG Phone 9 FE is not just about powerful specs but also robust build quality. It measures 163.8×76.8×8.9 mm and weighs approximately 225 grams, making it slightly lighter than its counterpart in the flagship series. Additionally, like the more premium models, it boasts an IP68 rating, ensuring dust and water resistance and offering peace of mind for users on the go.

The new ASUS ROG Phone 9 FE will sport a 6.78 inches 165Hz refresh rate Samsung AMOLED FHD+ display. The device features HDR10+, Always On HDR support, and comes with Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2 on top. On the back, there is a small OLED display.
The new ASUS ROG Phone 9 FE comes with SD 8 Gen 3 SoC coupled with 12GB/16GB/24GB RAM and 256GB/512GB/1TB storage.
The ASUS ROG Phone 9 FE will ship with triple rear cameras with LED flash aligned horizontally. This time the ASUS ROG Phone 9 FE features a 50MP Sony IMX890 main sensor with f/1.8 aperture, a 13MP ultra-wide sensor with f/2.4 aperture, and a 5MP macro sensor with LED flash. The new ASUS ROG Phone 9 FE features a 32MP selfie shooter. It comes with 4K slo-mo and 8K video recording.
The connectivity option includes Dual SIM with 4G LTE, VoLTE and 5G support, A-GPS, GLONASS, Dual Frequency GPS, NFC, USB Type-C port, 3.5mm audio port, Wifi-7, Bluetooth 5.4, an in-display fingerprint scanner. The device also features a 5-magnet stereo speaker, Dirac Virtuo for Headphone Spatial Sound, and Tri-microphones with ASUS Noise Reduction Technology.
The new ASUS ROG Phone 9 FE will pack a 5500 mAh battery with 65W fast wired & 15W wireless charging support. It will also have support for 5G networks and runs on Android 15 out of the box.
