Oppo recently unveiled the Find N5 foldable phone in China and some Asian markets. The Find X8 Ultra will reportedly be launched in China in March. Oppo Find series product manager Zhou Yibao recently shared a Weibo post highlighting the Find X8 Ultra’s outstanding low-light capabilities.

Additionally, the device has received radio certification in China, indicating an imminent launch. Further, live images of what appears to be the Find X8 Ultra have emerged, providing the first glimpse of the device’s design.

Live image:

Oppo Find X8 Ultra live images are shown below. Unlike its competitors like the Xiaomi 15 Ultra and Vivo X200 Ultra, which are expected to feature micro-quad-curved screens, the Ultra branded phone will have a flat display.

A distinctive circular design is observed in the other image, as well as a sophisticated dual-tone finish. Its premium aesthetic is enhanced by a polished silver outer ring that creates a raised, layered effect.

On top is a single camera, which appears to be a 6x periscope zoom camera, while below is the primary camera, an ultra-wide lens, a 3x periscope camera, and a 3x periscope camera with a squarish design. On the device’s top-left corner, an LED flash is located. Despite its futuristic appearance, the camera has advanced capabilities. In the leaked image, the rear camera module schematic aligns with a recent one.

Everest of Night Photography:

Zhou Yibao describes night photography as one of the “Everest” of mobile imaging. Oppo made significant strides in this area with the Find X6 Pro, which incorporates a large sensor for more precise night shots. When taking night photos, it’s not just about sharpness – it’s also about delivering vibrant, true-to-life colours.

The Oppo Find X8 Ultra goes one step further. The new lens will significantly improve light intake, while a new hardware feature will ensure more accurate colour reproduction in low light. The X8 Ultra is expected to feature a 50-megapixel LYT-900 primary camera, a 50-megapixel Sony IMX882 ultra-wide lens, and a 50-megapixel IMX906 telephoto camera with 3x optical zoom.
