Recent reports and certifications indicate that the Vivo V50 series is poised for an imminent launch. A new update from SmartPrix has pinpointed the release date for the Vivo V50 in the Indian market, scheduled for the third week of February 2025, specifically on February 18th, 2025. This aligns with previous insights, although the higher-end Vivo V50 Pro model is expected to face a delay.
As the launch date approaches, Vivo is likely to begin promotional activities for the Vivo V50 soon. Recalling last year’s launch schedule, the Vivo V40 and its Pro variant were released around the same time, suggesting a similar timing for the V50 series, albeit with the Pro model arriving later.
Earlier this month, NCC certifications revealed key specifications of the Vivo V50, including battery capacity, fast charging capabilities, and memory configurations. The device will be available in two variants: 12GB RAM with 256GB storage and 12GB RAM with 512GB storage. It is equipped with a robust 6,000mAh battery, supported by 90W wired fast charging.
Further details suggest that the Vivo V50 may be an evolution of the Vivo S20 rather than a straightforward rebrand. Design aspects confirmed in the certification also highlight a continued partnership with Zeiss for the rear camera setup, promising enhanced photographic capabilities.
