Next week, on January 22, Samsung will unveil the Galaxy S25 series. Brazilian outlet Technoblog recently revealed official press materials that outline significant specifications and AI enhancements in the upcoming phones.

The Galaxy S25+—expected to share features with the S25—will include a 50MP main camera with 2x in-sensor zoom, a 10MP 3x telephoto camera, and a 12MP ultrawide lens. Both models will also sport 12MP front cameras. The S25+ will maintain a 4,900 mAh battery, identical to its predecessor, which Samsung claims will support up to 30 hours of video playback.

The Galaxy S25 Ultra retains the previous model’s camera configuration, featuring a 200MP main camera with 2x in-sensor zoom, a 50MP periscope with 5x optical zoom, and a 10MP “short” telephoto with 3x optical zoom. It introduces a new 50MP ultrawide lens, upgrading from the outdated 12MP sensor. A 12MP front camera remains consistent with past models.

Like its predecessors, the S25 Ultra will be equipped with a 5,000 mAh battery, purportedly allowing up to 31 hours of video playback. All phones in the Galaxy S25 series will come standard with the Snapdragon 8 Elite chip and 12GB RAM.

The upcoming release will also introduce innovative AI features.

The new “Now Brief” feature will provide personalized daily summaries, including a morning brief with weather forecasts, your schedule, and an energy score—assuming you own a Samsung wearable.

The commute brief will activate navigation and music playback upon entering a vehicle, and the evening summary will review your daily activity trends and highlight “memorable moments” through photo collages.

Additionally, the updated Google Gemini integration will enhance interactions between Samsung’s first-party apps and Google’s AI assistant.

Users will be able to command Gemini to read and interact with content on-screen from apps like YouTube and engage with Samsung apps such as Samsung Notes.
