Oppo is set to launch its new foldable phone, the Find N5, in China next month. This upcoming device has been a topic of discussion in the rumour mill for some time, and it is anticipated to be the world’s thinnest foldable phone when unfolded, measuring approximately 4mm in thickness.
Recently, a set of images from Weibo provided a clear view of the Find N5’s design. Notably, these images include comparisons with the Oppo Find X8, showing that the foldable is slightly thicker when viewed from the side, although the difference becomes less apparent from the bottom.
Additionally, a recent leak on Weibo by the tipster Experience More offered a closer look at the Find N5’s camera design. It features a round camera module branded with the Hasselblad logo and a punch-hole cutout on the cover screen for the selfie camera.
The Find N5 is said to measure less than 9.2mm thick when folded and slightly over 4mm on one side when unfolded. The leaks also highlight that the crease on the foldable display is well-managed.
The camera setup of the Find N5 is expected to include three lenses, with the telephoto lens positioned at the upper left corner of the module and the flash located at the lower right corner. It is rumoured to be available in black and white colour options.
While Oppo has not officially confirmed the specifications or release date, the leaks indicate that the Find N5 will be a significant improvement over the previous Find N3 model, featuring a slimmer design, an enhanced camera system, and better crease control. We will continue to provide updates as more information becomes available.
