Reports suggest that OnePlus may be working on the OnePlus 13 Mini, a more compact version of its flagship phone. Speculation indicates that the OnePlus 13 Mini may share some features with the Oppo Find X8 Mini. A new leak from Smart Pikachu has provided details about the OnePlus 13 Mini’s key specifications. The details revealed in the leak match up with information previously shared by well-known tipster Digital Chat Station. According to the leak, the OnePlus 13 Mini will feature a 6.3-inch OLED display, a triple-camera setup including a periscope camera, a metal frame, and a glass back.
In previous leaks, DCS confirmed that the OnePlus 13 Mini’s screen would support LTPO technology, have a 1.5K resolution, and narrow bezels on all four sides. The camera setup will reportedly include a 50-megapixel Sony IMX906 main camera, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide lens, and a 50-megapixel periscope telephoto camera with 3x optical zoom. The phone will also feature an in-display fingerprint sensor.
The OnePlus 13 Mini is expected to be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite processor, while the Oppo Find X8 Mini will use the Dimensity 9400 chip. Smart Pikachu’s leak also mentions that the device will support wireless charging, although no details have been disclosed regarding its battery size.
While the Find X8 is expected to launch in March, the OnePlus 13 Mini is set to debut in the second quarter of the year in China. At this time, there is no official word on its global release.
