The latest OnePlus 13R includes a much-anticipated feature—a telephoto lens. While it doesn’t quite compare to the top-tier OnePlus 13, consumers no longer have to forego this important feature when opting for a more affordable smartphone. This improvement slightly bridges the gap between the flagship model and the more budget-friendly options.

OnePlus 13R:

The new OnePlus 13R will sport a massive 6.78 inches 1.5K(2772×1240p) BOE X2 OLED 8T LTPO display with a 120Hz refresh rate. The display is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 7i on top. It comes with 4500nits peak brightness, 1600nits peak full-screen brightness, DisplayMate A+ rating, & Dolby vision support. OnePlus 13R will feature a metal mid-frame chassis featuring Crystal Shield Glass.

OnePlus 13R will ship with a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC. The device comes with 8GB/12GB/16GB RAM and 128GB/256GB UFS 4.0 storage.

It comes with stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos support. On the back, the OnePlus 13R will ship with triple-rear cameras with a 50MP Sony LYT-700 sensor with f/1.8 aperture, OIS, with an 8MP 119° ultra-wide-angle lens. This time OnePlus 13R will feature 50MP Samsung JN5 telephoto sensor and LED flash. The high-resolution sensor in the camera enables it to capture images at 4x zoom while maintaining excellent image quality. However, it’s important to note that this camera lacks Optical Image Stabilization (OIS). There is the same 16MP selfie camera with an f/2.5 aperture.

The OnePlus 13R packs a massive 6000mAh battery with 80W fast charging. It runs on Android 15 with OxygenOS 15 on top. OnePlus has enhanced its software support policy, now providing 4 years of OS updates and 6 years of security patches. While this is a step forward, it still falls short of the extended support offered by Samsung, Google, and Apple.

OnePlus 13 will ship with the same 6.82 inches (3216 x 1440p) 2K LTPO 3.0 OLED Pro-XDR BOE X2 micro-quad-curved display. The display is protected by Crystal Shield super ceramic glass on top. It comes with 4500nits peak brightness, 1600nits peak full-screen brightness, DisplayMate A++ rating, & Dolby vision support. This time the device features an in-display ultrasonic fingerprint scanner.

The OnePlus 13 is powered by Snapdragon 8 Elite SoC coupled with 12GB/16GB/24GB RAM and 256GB/512GB/1TB storage space. It features triple rear cameras which have been customized by Hasselblad.

It features a 50MP main Sony LYT808 sensor with OIS coupled with a 50MP Sony LYT600 telephoto lens and 3x optical zoom, 6x in-sensor zoom, and up to 120x digital zoom. There is a 50MP Samsung JN1 ultra-wide lens with LED flash. This time there is a massive 32MP Sony IMX615 selfie shooter.

The connectivity option includes Dual SIM with Dual 4G LTE and VoLTE support, and 5G Dual Mode (SA/NSA) support. The OnePlus 13 also supports 10W reverse wireless charging. It runs on Android 15 With ColorOS 15 on top. The phone’s size is 162 x 76.5 x 8.5 mm and weighs 210 grams.
