Nothing is reportedly planning to launch three new smartphones in 2025: the flagship Phone (3), the mid-range Phone (3a), and the premium mid-range Phone (3a) Plus, targeting a broader market spectrum.

One of the three upcoming smartphones from Nothing has appeared on the BIS (Bureau of Indian Standards) and UL Demko certification lists. Although it’s not specified which model the listed number corresponds to, a report from 91Mobiles indicates that it could be either the Phone (3a) or the Phone (3a) Plus. This development suggests that the launch of these models could be approaching soon.

The BIS listing for one of Nothing’s upcoming smartphones primarily reveals its model number and confirms its approval for launch in India, offering little else in terms of specifics. However, its appearance on the UL Demko certification provides more insight, showing that the device features a 4290mAh battery capacity. While this might be the rated capacity, it is common for companies like Nothing to market it as a higher typical capacity, such as 5000mAh, to align with consumer expectations.

The upcoming Nothing Phone (3a) series is expected to introduce significant upgrades. Both the Phone (3a) and the Plus model are rumored to feature advanced camera systems, with the Plus potentially including a periscope lens—a first for Nothing’s mid-range lineup. Additionally, both models are likely to support eSIM technology and switch from MediaTek to Qualcomm with the Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 chipset for better performance. If Nothing maintains its current pricing strategy, these models should remain under ₹30,000 in India.
