Oppo is set to launch the Find N5 in February, with a product manager sharing additional photos highlighting its sleek profile alongside the iPhone 16 Pro Max.

When unfolded, the device measures about 3.7 mm in thickness—comparable to two CNY1 coins stacked together. This makes it the second smartphone in history, foldable or otherwise, to break the 4 mm threshold. The first was Huawei’s Mate XT Ultimate tri-fold.

Geekbench listing:

Powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite processor, the Find N5 (model PKH110) recently appeared on Geekbench, where its scores aligned with other flagships using the latest Qualcomm chipset. However, the Geekbench listing revealed an unusual detail: the CPU features only seven cores, specifically 2×4.32 GHz Oryon V2 Phoenix L and 5×3.53 GHz Oryon V2 Phoenix M. Qualcomm has reportedly made these configurations available to select buyers, with Oppo being one of them.

A leaked hands-on image also showcased the Find N5 next to a red Find N3, hinting at a triple-camera setup with an LED flash arranged in a square formation on a circular module.

IP69 rated:

The  Oppo Find N5’s unparalleled water resistance, offering support for IPX6, IPX8, and IPX9 ratings. This level of waterproofing is unique in the foldable segment, ensuring protection against splashes, immersion, and high-pressure water jets. The above video also confirms that the N5 supports underwater photography like recent Oppo phones such as the Find X8 series and the Reno 13 lineup.

Super Thin design:

The device is also constructed using a 3D titanium alloy hinge, making it lighter and sturdier than conventional aluminium-based foldable designs. This focus on durability sets a new benchmark for foldable smartphones.

The Oppo Find N5 is being hailed as the thinnest foldable phone in the industry. With a folded thickness of less than 9.2mm and an unfolded thickness of just 4mm per side, it surpasses the iPhone 16 Pro, which measures 8.3mm. The images above show that, unlike the Find N3, there is no speaker alongside the USB-C port. However, Oppo Find N-series Product Manager Cheng Xiaoxue has clarified that the speaker is located on the bottom, on the other half of the device. Additionally, Yibao has hinted that the device weighs less than 230 grams, compared to the N3’s 239 grams.

The global availability of the Find N5 remains uncertain. Oppo could release it internationally either as an Oppo phone or under the OnePlus brand. Further details are expected during the official launch, which is just around the corner.
