iQOO is set to expand its presence in the Indian smartphone market with the anticipated launch of the Neo 10R 5G, which follows the earlier debut of the Neo 10 series in China. The upcoming device, rumored to be unveiled in February 2025, has been hinted at by well-known tech insider Paras Guglani. According to Guglani, the Neo 10R 5G will carry the model number “I2221” and boast a 6.78-inch AMOLED display, complete with a high 144Hz refresh rate, promising smooth visuals and a responsive touch experience.

The Neo 10R 5G will be powered by the advanced Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 processor, paired with versatile RAM and storage configurations. Options include 8GB RAM with either 128GB or 256GB storage and a more robust 12GB + 256GB variant. This setup ensures that the smartphone will easily handle multitasking and high-performance gaming.

The device also features a robust 6,400mAh battery that supports 80W fast charging to quickly replenish energy. For photography, the Neo 10R 5G will feature a versatile triple camera setup: a 50 MP Sony LYT-600 primary sensor, an 8 MP ultrawide lens, and a 16 MP front-facing camera for clear selfies and video calls.

Available in two striking colours, Blue White Slice and Lunar Titanium, the smartphone will be an attractive option for tech enthusiasts. With a competitive price tag under INR 30,000, the iQOO Neo 10R 5G is positioned to challenge other mid-range smartphones in the market, including the POCO X7 Pro and Motorola Edge 50 Pro, particularly appealing to gamers and performance-driven users.
