Samsung has recently introduced the Galaxy Z Fold 6 Special Edition, noted for its thinner profile compared to the standard Z Fold 6. Building on this trend of sleek designs, Samsung is now poised to unveil an even more slender model, the Galaxy S25 Slim. This new addition is shaping up to be one of Samsung’s thinnest smartphones yet.
Design:
High-quality 5K renders of the Galaxy S25 Slim have been released by Smartprix in collaboration with OnLeaks, revealing a device that is exceptionally slim at just 6.4mm. Including the camera module, the thickness measures 8.3mm, which is notably slim compared to other smartphones that typically range from 8mm to 10mm thick without any camera protrusion.
For context, the Galaxy S25 Ultra is expected to have a body thickness of about 8.2mm excluding its camera bump, while the S25 Slim achieves a mere 6.4mm in thickness without its camera bump and 8.3mm with it. The dimensions of the S25 Slim are approximately 159 x 76 x 6.4mm, making it narrower, shorter, and thinner than the S25 Ultra, which measures 162.8 x 77.6 x 8.2mm.
The S25 Slim’s design includes a triple rear camera setup, a metal frame, and a glass back, maintaining the aesthetic of the S25 series. The device features a flat-screen and flat frame, enhancing its sleek appearance.
Specs:
The camera setup is rumoured to include a 200MP HP5 main sensor, a 50MP JN5 ultra-wide camera, and a 50MP telephoto lens with 3.5X optical zoom. A novel design element, the ALoP (All Lenses on Prism) design, arranges the lenses in front of the prism to keep the device slim while providing significant optical zoom capabilities.
Internally, the Galaxy S25 Slim is expected to be equipped with the Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset, 12 GB of RAM, and will run on Android 15 with Samsung’s One UI 7. This model continues Samsung’s commitment to combining cutting-edge technology with stylish, ultra-thin designs.
