In just a few weeks, the Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra will be available. Several details and leaks have already emerged about the upcoming flagship, including its camera setup. For the first time, this new source offers a very detailed and comprehensive list of camera sensors.

If the source is accurate, this could be an almost identical camera setup to the current S24 Ultra, but we should take this leak with a grain of salt. The main camera is a 200MP Samsung ISOCELL HP2 (1/1″, 0.6m-2.4m), f/1.7, 23mm, and the 12MP Sony IMX754 (1/3.52″, 1.12m), f/2.4, 67mm 3x telephoto, the 50MP Sony IMX854 (1.2-1.4m), f/3.4, 111mm 5x telephoto, and the 12MP Samsung ISOCELL S5K3LU (1/3.2″, 1.12m), f/2.2, 26mm.

The only camera using new hardware is the ultrawide, which uses a Samsung ISOCELL S5KJN3 sensor, also known as the GN3. With 1.0m pixels and a 1/1.57″ optical size, it’s a 50MP sensor.

Seamless updates support:

A new report from Android Authority confirms that Samsung Galaxy S25 series devices support seamless updates.

There are some leaked files from the Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra, which confirm that the Galaxy S25 Ultra supports seamless updates, which should also apply to the Galaxy S25 and Galaxy S25+.

Google introduced seamless updates in 2016, but Samsung adopted it only in March of this year with the Galaxy A55.

The seamless updates feature allows you to continue using your phone in partition A while the update is being installed on partition B. You don’t have to wait a few minutes for the entire installation process to complete before you can use your phone during the installation.

New Corning Gorilla Glass Armor:

Corning’s Gorilla Glass Armor is used exclusively on Samsung’s Galaxy S24 Ultra so far. With its anti-reflective coating, the S24 Ultra has the least reflective screen in smartphone history, which makes it extremely usable.

The Galaxy S25 Ultra, expected to be unveiled on January 22, will only use Corning’s “powerful” second-generation Gorilla Glass Armor, which will be anti-reflective as well.
