It is reported that “Little Tornado” is the codename for the Redmi Turbo series, which suggests that the Redmi Turbo 4 will be officially unveiled this month. It will be the world’s first phone to use the Dimensity 8400 chip.

Based on TSMC’s 4nm process, the D8400 features a Cortex-A725 large-core architecture and a clock speed of more than 3GHz. The GPU IP is the same as that of the Dimensity 9400, namely Immortalis-G925 MC12. AnTuTu benchmark scores for the Dimensity 8400 surpass the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 mobile chipset by over 1.7 million points.

Redmi Turbo 4 will feature a flat OLED panel with a 1.5K resolution, according to reports. This device may support 90W fast charging, according to its 3C certification. The device is likely to cost between 1,500 Yuan (~$205) and 2,000 Yuan (~$275).
