The GT 7 Pro was released by Realme in November in its domestic Chinese market with an 8.55mm thickness and a 6,500mAh battery. Using silicon and carbon as the anode materials, silicon-carbon batteries offer a high energy density and long battery life.
According to the brand, this achievement has not satisfied them and they are testing new boundaries on the next flagship. Realme is reportedly considering three battery options for its next-generation flagship, presumably the GT 8 Pro, each offering impressive capacity but with trade-offs in charging speed.
With an 8,000mAh battery, you would be able to provide exceptional endurance, but charging it would take 80W longer. The charging time could increase to 70 minutes as a result.
Alternatively, a 7,500mAh battery with 100W charging is a more moderate option. Charging times are estimated to be around 55 minutes with this configuration.
Lastly, we are looking into a battery with 7,000mAh and 120W of charging. With a 42-minute charging time, this option would provide long battery life while maintaining relatively fast charging speeds.
According to leaks, if accurate, the GT 8 Pro could have outstanding battery performance. Details are still pending, however.
