Zhou Yibao, the Oppo Find series product head, took to Weibo to solicit feedback on the upcoming foldable smartphone. His poll asked users which upgrades they were most looking forward to in the next generation of large foldable devices. Several aspects were addressed in the poll, including lightness, performance, battery life, imaging, and wireless charging. Additionally, tipster Digital Chat Station leaked key specifications of the Find N5.

According to a previous poll conducted by the same Oppo executive, Oppo is likely to use the Oppo Find N5 moniker for its upcoming foldable phone. New poll options suggest that Find N5 will be improved in several areas. The responses of users will likely influence the priorities for the new model, ensuring that the enhancements are in line with consumer expectations.

DCS reports the Oppo Find N5 will feature the Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset, a 50-megapixel triple camera setup with periscope telephoto lens, wireless charging, and ColorOS 15. A strong battery life, and a lighter, and thinner body will make the Find N5 a better choice than the Find N3. It will have an anti-fall construction and IPX8 waterproofing for durability.

DCS previously revealed that the Find N5 may come with a 5,700mAh battery. According to other leaks, it may have a battery with a capacity of approximately 6,000mAh. The Snapdragon 8 Elite is expected to power the N5, the world’s first foldable phone, which will be released in Q1 2025.

Oppo is reportedly developing the Find X8 Ultra and Find X8 Mini, compact flagship phones, along with the Find N5. It is expected that these devices will be available in China in January 2025. OnePlus Open 2 may be rebranded in some global markets as the Find N5.
