Oppo is now working on its next flagship smartphone following the Find X8 and Find X8 Pro release earlier this year. The Find X8 Ultra is expected to launch early next year, competing with the Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra, Honor Magic 7 Ultimate, Xiaomi 15 Ultra, and Vivo X200 Ultra.
The device’s key specifications have been revealed in recent leaks before its launch. According to Digital Chat Station, the Oppo Find X8 Ultra will have a 6.8-inch quad-curved display with 2K resolution. Additionally, the phone will have an ultrasonic fingerprint sensor, an upgrade over the optical sensor on the Find X7 Ultra.
The Find X8 Ultra is rumoured to have IP68 and IP69 ratings, ensuring protection from water and dust. There is also speculation that the device will feature a larger 6,000mAh battery, but the charging speed may be reduced to 80W or 90W.
The Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite is expected to power theĀ Find X8 Ultra is rumoured to have quad cameras. Two telephoto lenses and an ultra-wide 50MP Sony IMX 882 sensor with an optical format of 1/1.95 inches are also included. Among the telephoto lenses, there is a 50MP Sony LYT 701 sensor with a 1/1.56-inch format and a 75mm equivalent focal length, as well as a 50MP Sony IMX 882 sensor with a 1/1.95-inch format and a 150mm equivalent focal length. e Find X8 Ultra, and the Dimensity 9400 will power the other Find X8 models.
