In all OnePlus AMOLED displays, the brand has integrated a new Enhanced Edge Bonding Layer that uses PVX edge-sealing materials. The material is highly resistant to weathering and chemicals.
Over time, the layer will also slow moisture and oxygen penetration, extending the display lifespan. Even with India’s extreme heat and humidity, green lines can be reduced to the lowest level.
Over 180 comprehensive tests are conducted by the OnePlus Quality Engineering Lab on all phones. To ensure reliability and durability, electrical performance tests, structural assessments, and environmental ageing evaluations are conducted.
The company also conducts extended exposures to 85°C and 85% humidity under the “Double 85” test. As a result of these extreme tests, OnePlus will be able to determine the durability and performance of its devices under stress.
Additionally, all OnePlus smartphones will be covered by a lifetime warranty against green line issues. This warranty is available to all OnePlus smartphone owners, regardless of whether they own an older model or the most recent release.
