OnePlus will unveil its Ace 5 series of smartphones later this month in China. The Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 and Snapdragon 8 Elite chipsets will be used in the Ace 5 and Ace 5 Pro, respectively. It has been intermittently leaked by the rumour mill what the specifications of the Ace 5 series will be. New leaks, courtesy of tipster Digital Chat Station, reveal almost everything about the standard model.
OnePlus Ace 5:
The new OnePlus 13R aka Ace 5 will sport a massive 6.78 inches 1.5K(2772×1240p) BOE X2 OLED 8T LTPO display with a 120Hz refresh rate. The display is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2 on top. It comes with 4500nits peak brightness, 1600nits peak full-screen brightness, DisplayMate A+ rating, & Dolby vision support. OnePlus Ace 5 will feature a metal mid-frame chassis featuring Crystal Shield Glass.
OnePlus Ace 5 will ship with a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC. The device comes with 8GB/12GB/16GB RAM and 128GB/256GB storage.
It comes with stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos support. On the back, the OnePlus Ace 5 will ship with triple-rear cameras with a 50MP main sensor with f/1.8 aperture, OIS, 8MP 119° ultra-wide-angle lens, and 2MP macro sensor and LED flash. There is the same 16MP selfie camera with an f/2.5 aperture.
The OnePlus Ace 5 packs a massive 6285mAh battery with 80W fast charging. It runs on Android 15 with OxygenOS 15 on top. The connectivity option includes Dual SIM with Dual 4G LTE and VoLTE support, 5G Dual Mode (SA/NSA) support, in-display fingerprint scanner, Wifi 6e, A-GPS, GLONASS, Bluetooth 5.4, NFC, USB Type-C port and 1216 Linear Speaker, Dolby Atmos, Hi-Res Audio certification.
