We are about to welcome another contender to the Xiaomi 15 lineup—the Xiaomi 15 Ultra. This device is expected to succeed the Xiaomi 14 Ultra in January. Due to this, the device has been receiving certifications like 3C.
According to a new leak from a well-known Weibo tipster, Xiaomi has postponed the launch of the 15 Ultra. According to Digital Chat Station, the device’s release date has been delayed from its expected January 2025 release date, although the reason for the delay is not disclosed.
It appears from his most recent post that the delay has nothing to do with cameras. Since the release has been delayed, he says he is dissatisfied with the “current engineering model’s battery” and hopes it can be “enlarged.”
There is an expectation that the phone will have a battery capacity of 5,450mAh to 5,800mAh. The new flagship phones for 2025 have batteries in the range of 6,000mAh, which is still a good amount of power. It is likely because of this that DCS is dissatisfied with the current battery.
Furthermore, 3C certification confirms that the phone will support 90W fast charging and satellite connectivity.
