In India, JioTag Go is the first Android item tracking tag to be launched. To track the tag, it uses the network of all Android phones around the world through Google Find My Device.
The JioTag Go is the first item tracking tag in India with Google Find My Device. This tag can be tracked even if you are not in its vicinity. Using the network of all Android phones worldwide, the system works.
It works like Apple’s AirTag. Every Android phone that supports this feature constantly scans and detects Android tags. Google uploads this data in real time. By using this data, Google will provide the exact last known location of the tracker when you try to find it.
In the old JioTag, Bluetooth Low Energy was used to locate the tag. When you are out of range for the tag, you cannot track it. The JioTag Go integrates Find My Device to solve this issue. Google and Android also provide privacy features. Android smartphones nearby will be alerted if an unknown tracker is found nearby.
There is no need for a SIM card for JioTag Go. With its 120dB sound output, it is easy to locate. Additionally, the tracker is equipped with Bluetooth 5.3 for local scanning. It is compact and can be attached to keys, wallets, or similar items. The device weighs 77 grams. JioTag Go’s battery can last up to a year. This tag is powered by a CR032 battery, and an extra cell is included.
JioTag Go costs Rs 1,499 in India. You can purchase it on Amazon, JioMart, Jio Stores, or through a retailer partner.
