It’s only a matter of time before Google announces the Pixel 9a. Multiple sources have now confirmed the entire spec sheet of the device, while we have already confirmed some specs. It was confirmed by a second source that this spec sheet comes from a wireless carrier.
Specs:
The new Google Pixel 9a will sport a 6.3-inch FHD+ Actua 120Hz refresh rate AMOLED flat punch-hole display. It comes with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection. The device also comes with HDR10+ support. When playing HDR content, the display can reach 1400 nits with a peak brightness of 2700 nits. It measures 8.9mm thick & weighs 186g.
The new Google Pixel 9a is powered by the new Tensor G4 SoC which comes with a Titan M2 security chip. The phone comes with 8GB RAM and 128GB/256GB UFS 3.1 storage options.
The Google Pixel 9a comes with a 48MP Samsung GN8 main wide sensor with f/1.7 aperture coupled with a 13MP Sony IMX712 ultra-wide shooter with f/2.2 aperture and LED flash. Pixel 9a can shoot 4K videos at 60fps. The Pixel 9a comes with a 13MP selfie shooter.
The new Pixel 9a also comes with an in-display fingerprint scanner & Stereo speakers. The Pixel 9a packs a 5100 mAh battery with 23W fast wired charging also 7.5W wireless charging. It runs on the latest Android 15 OS out of the box. It also gets IP68 certified making it dust & water-resistant.
The connectivity option includes Dual SIM, Wifi-6, A-GPS, GLONASS, Bluetooth 5.3, USB Type-C port, NFC, Dual SIM with 4G LTE, and 5G with mmWave support.
The Pixel 9a will receive seven years of OS, security, and feature updates.
Pricing:
Pixel 9a comes in Obsidian, Porcelain, Iris, and Peony, the same colours as the vanilla Pixel 9. The pricing will remain the same this year as well. It will cost $499 (Rs.42,400/-) for the 128GB model and an extra $50 for the mmWave model.
