Most of Apple’s iPhone designs haven’t changed in several generations. It’s been a bit tweaky here and there, but nothing major. Earlier this year, we thought the iPhone 17 Pro series would change this, but a new report suggests Apple will keep the same camera design.

Recently, a supply chain leak revealed the chassis of the iPhone 17 Pro, which will have a Pixel-like camera visor. InstantDigital reported that that won’t be the final design, and we’ll see the return of the familiar triangular camera setup. According to the new rumour, Apple’s iPhone 17 Pro and Pro Max will have a different back design, but not a new camera island.

There is no way to verify any of these rumours, as it is all speculation. Specifically, the source of the new rumour has a mixed track record in terms of predictions, including the yellow iPhone 14 colour, frosted back glass and several leaks about the Apple Watch Series 9 and M4 iPad Pro.

According to previous rumours, the 17 Pro series might return to aluminium frames, but a new rumour suggests titanium frames instead.
