Today, CAD-based renders of the Samsung Galaxy A56 have surfaced, revealing an unmistakably Samsung design. However, a notable change stands out in the A5x lineage: the introduction of a new camera island design. This alteration marks a fresh look for the series, setting it apart from previous models.
Gone are the days of separate, tiny islands for each camera on the back glass; now, they’re nestled together within a larger, black, oval-shaped enclosure. This is the primary design shift to note. Additionally, there might be a marginally reduced bottom bezel, although these observations stem from CAD-based renders, which aren’t always exact in capturing such nuances.
Leaks suggest Samsung may differentiate its Galaxy S25 series by giving budget models a single camera island, while premium phones retain individual lens mini-islands. The upcoming Galaxy A56 is set to feature an improved selfie camera, 45W wired charging, and the Exynos 1580 SoC.
