Realme has just introduced the Realme GT 7 Pro in China, making it the cheapest option featuring the Snapdragon 8 Elite processor. The device has now embarked on its international rollout, starting with Malaysia. Attention is now turning towards the Realme GT Neo7, another budget-friendly flagship, which boasts what could be the largest battery in a smartphone from a major manufacturer.

The Realme GT Neo7 series is set to make its debut towards the end of this year, with a probable launch in December in China. This information comes from tipster Smart Pikachu, while Digital Chat Station, another well-known leaker, has also confirmed the series’ existence.

The term “series” hints at the possibility of multiple models, including potentially the Realme GT Neo7 and a Neo7 SE. While specifics about the SE are scarce, the GT Neo 7 has been the subject of numerous leaks.

According to Digital Chat Station, the GT Neo7 series is anticipated to lead in performance benchmarks, battery endurance, and water resistance among its mid-range competitors. When it comes to battery capacity, DCS has emphasized that the GT Neo7 will come equipped with the largest battery seen in this upcoming wave of smartphone releases.

Details so far suggest that the GT Neo7 will sport a high-resolution 1.5K display on a large flat OLED screen. It’s also expected to be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 Leading Version, an enhanced version of Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset with overclocked capabilities.

Per insights from the tech leaker Smart Pikachu, a smartphone with an impressive 7,000mAh battery is set to hit the market in December. Although the exact model wasn’t disclosed, speculation points towards it being the Realme GT Neo7, known for its anticipated large battery capacity.
