Back in August, details about the OnePlus Ace 5, including its display and processor, were leaked by Digital Chat Station. Recent leaks suggest that the phone is set to launch in China in December, with a potential global release as the OnePlus 13R in January 2025, possibly coinciding with the launch of the OnePlus 13.

OnePlus Ace 5:

The new OnePlus 13R aka Ace 5 will sport a massive 6.78 inches 1.5K(2772×1240p) BOE X2 OLED 8T LTPO display with a 120Hz refresh rate. The display is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2 on top. It comes with 4500nits peak brightness, 1600nits peak full-screen brightness, DisplayMate A+ rating, & Dolby vision support. OnePlus Ace 5 will feature a metal mid-frame chassis.

OnePlus Ace 5 will ship with a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC. The device comes with 8GB/12GB/16GB RAM and 128GB/256GB storage.

It comes with stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos support. On the back, the OnePlus Ace 5 will ship with triple-rear cameras with a 50MP main sensor with f/1.8 aperture, OIS, 8MP 119° ultra-wide-angle lens, and 2MP macro sensor and LED flash. There is the same 16MP selfie camera with an f/2.5 aperture.

The OnePlus Ace 5 packs a massive 6300 mAh battery with 100W fast charging. It runs on Android 15 with OxygenOS 15 on top. The connectivity option includes Dual SIM with Dual 4G LTE and VoLTE support, 5G Dual Mode (SA/NSA) support, in-display fingerprint scanner, Wifi 6e, A-GPS, GLONASS, Bluetooth 5.4, NFC, USB Type-C port and 1216 Linear Speaker, Dolby Atmos, Hi-Res Audio certification.

OnePlus Ace 5 Pro

The OnePlus Ace 5 Pro will arrive with a telephoto camera and be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite SoC. It comes with an impressive battery capacity of 6200mAh to 6300mAh. Rumours suggest an early launch in December, deviating from the norm as the Ace 3 Pro was only introduced in June. It might be limited to the Chinese market.
