The Dor QLED 4K TV has been launched in India by Streambox Media. Users pay a monthly fee to rent the TV, which includes access to over 24 OTT apps and 300+ Live TV channels. Micromax Informatics and Nikhil Kamath, the founder of Zerodha, support the company.
An upfront purchase of Dor’s 4K QLED TV will cost you Rs 10,799. For the first 12 months, the rental fee is Rs 799/-. A customized plan will be available after the first year starting at Rs 299 for users. You can also return the TV after 12 months of use for a buyback of up to Rs 5,000. Starting December 1, Flipkart will sell the Dor 4K QLED TV.
Dor QLED 4K TVs come in 43-inch sizes. With its full 4K resolution and 60Hz refresh rate, it has a quantum-dot LED panel. To provide an immersive viewing experience, the TV has thin bezels on three sides. There are 40W stereo speakers that are compatible with Dolby Atmos.
In-house developed Dor OS powers the TV. All popular OTT streaming apps are supported, including Amazon Prime Video, SonyLIV, Disney+Hotstar, JioCinema, etc. The monthly subscription includes 300+ Live TV channels and 24 OTT apps. Voice Search makes navigation easier on the TV.
Dor 4K QLED TV is powered by a quad-core CA55x4 processor clocked at 1.1GHz. The device comes with a Mali-G31 MP2 GPU, 1.5GB of RAM, and 8GB of storage. WiFi and Bluetooth connectivity are provided by the TV. On a smartphone, viewers can access Live TV and other OTT subscriptions through the Dor TV’s companion app.
Dor 4K QLED TVs are backed by a 4-year warranty. Currently, it is only available in black. According to the company, 65-inch and 55-inch TVs will be launched soon.
