Apple is gearing up for mass production of components for the 2025 iPhone SE 4, which will feature a significantly larger screen with a notch, moving away from the traditional front Touch ID button and the dated 4.7-inch display that has characterized previous models.

According to a reliable source, LG Innotek, a key supplier of camera modules for Apple, has commenced the pilot production for the iPhone SE 4’s camera. With LG’s practice of beginning to stock components around three months before the launch, we can anticipate the iPhone SE 4 to be released sometime in the upcoming quarter, with March being the most probable month.

The upcoming iPhone SE 4 is anticipated to feature a contemporary design, adopting elements from Apple’s latest models to keep production costs low and profit margins high. The camera module is set for a major upgrade, shifting from the old 12MP standard to a new 48MP sensor, promising a substantial boost for LG Innotek, the supplier.

Given that Apple last released an iPhone SE on March 18, 2022, and considering LG begins its camera production three months before the launch, it’s logical to expect the iPhone SE 4 to hit the stores around Friday, March 21, instead of March 14.
